SCD Probiotics Brown Soap contains Probiotic Cultures, Peloid Mud, Roasted Grains and Potato Flour. It is designed for sensitive and combination skin.Peloid packs and, specifically, peat, have been used in Europe for medicinal baths and wraps for the past 200 years. The use of medicinal peat baths dates back thousands of years to Ancient Greece. Historically, Peloid mud was used to treat chronic rheumatic diseases, arthritis, muscle pain, back pain, and was used to heal scars, atopic eczema, psoriasis, and acne.
(Peloid) is 100% natural clay sourced from salt mines or spring fed peat bogs in Bavaria and Czech Republic. It is mineral-rich, soft, wet earth that accumulates on the floor of the salt mine or salt bog which re-crystallizes. These crystalline components are mined, finely ground and mixed with spring water. Roasted grains are high in easily assimilated macro- and micro-nutrients. Peloid Mud is an extract produced from peat. It is high in organic acids, known to revitalize the skin. Molasses soothes, nourishes and improves skin tone. Fermented herbs (mint, chamomile, thyme) contain valuable biological substances: essential oils, amino acids and vitamins. Potato flour is gentle to the skin, does not cause irritation, soothes itching for atopic skin and eczema. Does not clog pores. Probiotics 12 probiotic strains produce beneficial metabolites and produce a pH balanced soap.
